They host a therapy program designed to help abandoned horses and youth bond with one another, teaching kids the skills needed to care for an animal.

Enjoy a Concert in the Park 

Lakewood’s concerts-in-the-park series is one of the city’s most popular summer activities. While the season in 2020 was hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are set to host six live concerts this summer beginning on July 8 and running through August 12.

The schedule includes musical acts such as Stone Soul, a Motown tribute band; Hard Days Nights, which will perform a Beatles tribute; and Knyght Ryder, an 80s and 90s cover band. For every Thursday evening this month, consider enjoying some quality time with your loved ones and dancing in the park to a few of your favorite hits.
