Enjoy a Pet That Fits Your Lifestyle

From small hamsters to dogs, we allow a variety of pets to fit the needs of you and your family. Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • The weight limit for pets is 50 pounds for Lakewood Manor and 25 pounds for Lakewood Manor II.
  • Dogs and Cats are allowed.
  • We have breed restrictions due to size and behavior traits. Please call our leasing office for more information.
  • Any small animals (e.g., guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles) must be caged and kept in a sanitary condition.
  • Additional or other pets must be approved by management.

While outside of your apartment with your dog, we ask that you keep your dog on a leash. We also have Pet Waste Stations located throughout the property, making it easy to pick up after your pet!

If you’re a dog owner or you’d like to be, we have great news for you! We are near several awesome dog parks. To name a few, there’s Uptown Dog Park 10 minutes to the west of us, Home Run Dog Park 10 minutes to the east, and Wrigley Heights Dog Park 15 minutes to the southwest. All provide a great way for you and your dog to get some sunshine and stretch your legs.

Having a pet can help decrease stress and improve health. According to HelpGuide, “Playing with a dog or cat can elevate levels of serotonin and dopamine, which calm and relax .” And according to the CDC , pets “can increase opportunities to exercise, get outside, and socialize.
